Back to School Sunday (Blessing of Backpacks)

Hey kids! Can you believe it’s almost back-to-school time? To celebrate the beginning of a brand new school year, we’re having a Back-To-School Sunday on August 16th for lots of fun! Bring your backpack with you to church so all of St. A’s can say a prayer over you, your backpack, and the teachers at each service. Everyone gets a cool backpack tag to keep with you all year! Join us after each service for refreshments and fellowship. Join us!

As part of our celebration, we’re also supporting our adopted school, Jefferson Elementary, with a school supply drive. Requested items include: Clorox wipes, washable markers, pencils, glue sticks, clear backpacks, water bottles & snacks. Please bring your donations with you on Sunday and help us send local students back to school with the tools they need to thrive.
