Pastoral Care is a vital expression of Christ’s love at St. Andrew’s. While many associate it with hosting receptions after funerals, this ministry extends far beyond that single moment. Pastoral Care is about walking alongside one another through life’s challenges—offering a listening ear, a prayer in times of crisis, a comforting presence during illness or grief, and support for those who are struggling.
In our tradition, caring for the sick, the dying, and all who are in need is one of the most meaningful ways the Body of Christ continues the ministry and mission of Jesus. This work belongs not only to clergy, but to all the baptized, who are called to embody compassion, hope, and Christlike love in our community.
