St. Francis Day- Blessing of the Animals- Stuffed Animal Drive

Bring your dog, your cat, your parakeet–you name it, we’ll bless it! In observance of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, we’re joining the other Compass Cooperative Youth churches at Friendes Church for the annual Blessing of the Animals service. Bring your fur babies, your feathered friends, and yes, reptiles are welcome, too–along with your friends and neighbors and their pets! If you have a hedgehog, we’d love to meet it! We’ll enjoy fellowship and every pet gets a blessing. This is a free event, but please bring new or gently used stuffed animals to give the gift of a cuddly companion to the children of Plaza de Paz! You can also drop off your stuffed animal donation in the office in advance so they can also be blessed at the service. Let’s spread joy and comfort together!
